I have finished writing a book about my son, Chase’s life. The book is titled, “A Life Half Lived”, a story of love, addiction, tragedy, and hope. The manuscript is with my editor right now. I am anticipating release of the book some time over the summer. Perhaps July or August. Stay tuned for updates.
Hi Darryl. I saw you as a new Twitter follower and I was intrigued, so visited your website. I’m starting a book project, an anthology series for the bereaved, and wonder if you might want to participate. I see you have a book coming out soon, I look forward to reading it.
I’m so very, very sorry for the loss of your son as well as the suicide of the driver. I’ve had a radio show called Grief Diaries Radio (on hiatus this summer) and we’ve discussed suicide. There just are no words to frame the loss of two bright kids. Just beyond horrible.
I too lost a teen daughter in a car accident, in 2009. She was a passenger, the only fatality. No drugs, alcohol, or negligence. Just a tragedy.
If you are interested in participating in the Grief Diaries anthology, you can learn more about the project at shop.goodgriefww.com. Either way, I would love to connect if you feel up to it. My email is lynda@lyndafell.com. Take care and big hugs.
