Candace Lightner, President of We Save Lives and founder of MADD announced today a new advocate and speaker, Darryl Rodgers, who is now part of the team.
Ms. Lightner said, “Darryl’s son, Chase, was killed in an impaired driving crash and he has written a moving book, A Life Half Lived, about his son’s experience with drugs and the consequences.”
“Darryl represented WSL at the Sam Shelton Benefit Concert at St. Charles East High School in St. Charles IL. Volunteers like Darryl, make the difference on how much an organization can accomplish. Thank you, Darryl for becoming a We Save Lives volunteer.”
I would like to thank Ms. Lightner and We Save Lives for the opportunity to speak on behalf of the organization. It’s an honor and a privilege to represent such a fine organization as We Save Lives.
This gives me the opportunity to share Chase’s story with other people around the country. Hopefully Chase’s story will save lives by changing the way people think.
